Updating your bank connection using Plaid instant verification allows you to securely connect a new bank account using your online banking credentials. Raisin never sees or stores your bank login details.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Select instant verification with Plaid
- Enter your cell phone number to locate any prior linked accounts with Plaid.
- Type your financial institution’s name into the search bar, or select it from the list provided.
- Plaid will pull up your bank's secure portal with them. Enter your online banking username and password.
- Choose the specific checking or savings account you want to set as your new linked account.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS text message to the mobile phone number registered with your Raisin account.
- Once submitted, Raisin will review the new connection. Updated external accounts are typically finalized within 1–5 business days.
Note: Your bank may require additional verification on their side, like sending you a verification code.
